The Texas Rangers scored three runs while the Los Angeles Dodgers managed just one run.
Thanks to a little more of the aggressive baserunning that we’ve seen the Rangers deploy of late, Texas was able to score a couple of runs without much loud contact in the first inning tonight as they made use of a bullpen game by Los Angeles who had scratched expected starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
Another run in the third made up the totality of Texas’ scoring, much like last evening’s contest. And like last night, those three runs stood up thanks to some superb pitching.
