30-33 - Peagle not powerful enough as Rangers fall 5-2

Related Topics: Texas Rangers, Wilmer Flores, Texas

The Texas Rangers scored two runs but the San Francisco Giants scored five runs.

.654 OPS hitter Wilmer Flores matched the Rangers’ output tonight with two swings of the bat. The only surprise is he’s not a backup catcher.

While the Giants were busy hitting three home runs, including Flores’ two, Texas was scratching and clawing for their meager two runs.

Player of the Game: Zeke Duran, filling in for Corey Seager in the lineup with Josh Smith sliding over to shortstop, collected a couple of hits and drove in one of the runs while also showing off his arm on a few difficult plays at third base.
