SEATTLE -- September has had a very spring-like feel for the Rangers.
Experimentation and investigation are the norm. Especially in center field.
What has played out in the season's final month seems to be an indication the Rangers are unsettled on center for 2019. On Friday, they started Joey Gallo in center. They have started five different center fielders over the last 11 games. The Rangers went into the weekend with something of a conundrum: Defensively, they've had some of the best center field play in the league; but offensively, they rank last in the AL and 29th in the majors in OPS from the position.
