The Texas Rangers scored three runs while the Boston Red Sox scored two runs.
At some point, this series basically became a battle between Adolis Garcia for Texas and Wilyer Abreu for Boston. Abreu got the better of the Rangers on Opening Day and just kept right on getting on base when he wasn’t doing damage, while El Bombi came around over the weekend and proved to be the hot hand for Texas.
No one will be sad to see Abreu sell his Six Flags Over Texas season pass, pack up his things, and get the heck out of Arlington.
