The Texas Rangers scored six runs but the Oakland Athletics scored thirteen runs.
In a ugly mirror of last night’s game, it was the A’s that ambushed the Rangers early for four runs off Taylor Hearn in the first inning. Oakland added three more in the second and two in the third to take a 9-0 lead before you could smash that like button and ring the bell on the YouTube feed.
It was a tough break for Hearn who had wiggled himself back into rotation consideration but he couldn’t get out of the first inning and exited with four runs on his ledger in just 2⁄3 of an inning and 34 pitches.
