I remember reading once upon a time, in Sports Illustrated or Sport or one of the other sports-related magazines I used to pour over as a teen, a write-up that reviewed/ranked all the NFL broadcast crews from that year. The only one I remember had to do with the Don Criqui/Bob Trumpy tandem, with Criqui described as being “as colorful as Cream of Wheat.
