With the 2024 regular season over, it is time for us to go back and take a look at the players who appeared for the Texas Rangers this season.
Today, we look at catcher Carson Kelly.
The Texas Rangers’ catching situation in 2024 was...not ideal. After Jonah Heim’s All Star 2023 campaign, he fell off mightily in 2024. Andrew Knizner, coming off a career year offensively, was signed to back up Heim, and was terrible. Sam Huff only appeared in two games behind the plate in the big leagues in 2024, had a total of four major league plate appearances, and disappointed in his time at AAA.
