As we wait for spring training to start, I thought I might run some polls regarding some of the guys on the Hall of Fame ballot this year.
First up is outfielder Gary Sheffield.
Sheffield spent 20 years in the majors. He has a career .292/.393/.514 slash line, with 2689 hits, 509 home runs and 253 stolen bases. He was a nine time All Star, and finished in the top three in the MVP voting three times. He has a career 60.5 bWAR and 62.1 fWAR.
Do you believe Gary Sheffield should be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame this year?
