A new 2020 MLB Mock Draft is up from Jim Callis at MLB Pipeline, with Callis acknowledging that the lack of scouting and activity that we normally have in the spring means that the draft gossip mill is also pretty dry right now. As a result, its reasonable to think that you should take mock draft projections right now with even more of a grain of salt than your normal one-month-out mock draft projections.
That being said, Callis has the Texas Rangers taking University of Tennessee lefthanded pitcher Garrett Crochet at #14. Interestingly, he has UCLA outfielder Garrett Mitchell going at #13, so you’d have back-to-back Garretts.
