Well that’s pretty much how you’d draw up a Texas Rangers victory in 2018 if given the opportunity. Staff ace Cole Hamels dominated with 11 Ks as the offense was able to do the previously unthinkable: score runs off of Oakland A’s starter Kendall Graveman.
After a frustrating night on Monday where the Rangers went 1-15 in RISP changes, tonight Texas scored twice in the top of the second to kind of give themselves a moment to breathe.
And, sure, four runs probably isn’t going to win you a game in the American League more often than not.
