19-27 - Rangers get some hits, but no runs in 2-0 loss to Yankees

The Texas Rangers scored zero runs and the New York Yankees scored two runs.

Coming into this series, the game I would have felt the least good about the Rangers coming away with a win would have been the opener between Gerrit Cole and Jordan Lyles.

Instead, after a second consecutive shutout loss and a third loss overall to drop the series, the opener was the only game the Rangers won in this four-game set and now Texas is a season-worst eight games below .500.

But, hey, at least they got a hit.
