The Texas Rangers didn’t score while the Washington Nationals scored a run.
Well, so much for the bats figuring it out after last night. Instead of Jon Gray suffering a 1-0 loss, it was Andrew Heaney.
The Rangers had nine opportunities with runners in scoring position and scored zero runs. They left 11 on base. They out-hit the Nationals, in fact. Washington only had two chances with RISP and left one on base all night.
Texas even managed to blow not one but two bases loaded, zero out opportunities. Someone check if the World Series rings were laced with kryptonite.
