With a lineup featuring the likes of Kevin Pillar and Nick Ahmed in a minor league rental ballpark where Texas trailed 4-0 before the second inning, and with tonight’s starter Kumar Rocker unable to make it through two innings in his latest poor outing away from The Shed, it was at least easy to forgo expectations early even if late-night West Coast baseball demands staying up late.
