13-26 - Losing streak hits five straight as Rangers fall to Mariners 4-3

The Texas Rangers scored three runs and the Seattle Mariners scored four runs.

After Jordan Lyles walked the first two hitters he faced, making sure that Kyle Seager would hit with at least a runner on base, this one felt doomed. After Lyles got a double play to provide our customary dollop of hope, Seager hit the most predictable two-run home run of all time to immediately quash all optimism.

Kyle Seager has never not hit a home run when it could ruin the Texas Rangers.

From there, the Rangers got three solo home runs throughout the afternoon to account for their scoring but a fellow Kyle — Kyle Lewis — also went deep before Seattle added an insurance run in the seventh.
