10-17 - Rangers are swept in Seattle for eighth straight loss

The Texas Rangers were beaten by the Seattle Mariners today 4-1 for their eighth consecutive loss. The Rangers had just three hits all game and the second one that prevented them from getting shut out didn’t come until the eighth inning.

The last time the Rangers had an eight game losing streak was from July 13 to July 22 last season. The last time the Rangers had a nine game losing streak, however, was from May 30 to June 8 in the genuinely miserable (A-Rod MVP!) 2003 season. That’s the kind of area these 2020 Rangers are starting to venture toward.
