Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson won't have a whole lot of time to think about his team's heartbreaking loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX, as he is planning to join the Texas Rangers for their Spring Training camp in Surprise, Arizona in the coming weeks.
Wilson was a Rule 5 Draft selection of the Rangers back in 2013, and spent part of last year's Spring Training meeting with Rangers players, fielding ground balls, and watching one of the team's exhibition games.
Per ESPN.com news services, "Rangers general manager Jon Daniels, who has been in touch with Wilson since November, said Tuesday that the NFL quarterback is expected to be in camp with the Rangers, but details have yet to be ironed out."
Wilson spent some time as a minor league in the Colorado Rockies system as well, hitting .229 with 15 stolen bases in 61 total games for the organization.
