Texas Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong has been successful in recruiting despite a slow start to their season, and they got another recruiting boost this week.
The top-ranked safety in the country, Brandon Jones (Nacogdoches, TX), has unveiled his six finalists.
“He has narrowed it down to six schools,” Nacogdoches coach Boby Reyes said, via 247sports. “The six are Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor, LSU, Alabama, and Oregon, but not in any order.”
The 5'11", 193-pounder is ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect in the class of 2016.
247sports predicts that he will sign with Texas A&M.
