The Texas Longhorns hosted four-star defensive end/outside linebacker Nana Osafo-Mensah (Fort Worth, TX) over the weekend and the visit clearly had a very positive effect on him.
“The visit was awesome,” Osafo-Mensah told Horns247. “I loved it. This was my second time going down to Austin, but it was my first time to see all the facilities and watch a practice. My favorite part was either watching the offense and defense scrimmage at practice or trying on the all white jerseys for sure.
“After this visit, Texas is definitely one of my top favorites in my Top 10 list. What really stood out to me in the program was how much the coaches were involved with the players everywhere.”
Osafo-Mensah is also set to make his official visit to Austin the weekend of May 4-6, something he expressed his excitement about on Twitter.

Notre Dame is thought to be the favorite for Osafo-Mensah with Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M in the group right behind them.
He is expected to make his college decision this summer.
The 6-foot-4, 227-pounder is ranked as the No. 6 weakside defensive end and No. 112 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247sports Composite.
