BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday the 2024 SEC Football Legends Class presented by T-Mobile, including former Texas Longhorn All-American QB Vince Young. The group of former football standouts will be honored at events surrounding the SEC Football Championship Game in Atlanta in December.
One of the most exciting players the game has ever seen as a quarterback at Texas from 2002-05, Vince Young turned in one of the greatest individual seasons in college football history in 2005. A consensus First Team All-American in 2005, Young was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy while claiming the Davey O'Brien and Maxwell awards.
