Xavier Worthy’s charge declined after arrest in Williamson County for felony domestic violence

Former Texas Longhorns wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who just finished his rookie season with the Kansas City Chiefs, was arrested on Friday in Williamson County for assault of a family or house member and impeding the breathing or circulation, according to online records.

The charge is a third-degree felony in Texas and punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Worthy had not yet posted bond as of Saturday morning and the online records did not include any further details about the arrest.
