FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – On the final day of the NCAA West Preliminaries, Texas' No. 1 women's track and field program solidified 14 entries to the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Julien Alfred, Kevona Davis, Kynnedy Flannel and Rhasidat Adeleke led the way by qualifying in three separate events.
The four were the first group to qualify for Nationals on Saturday with the second-fastest 4x100 relay time of 43.00. The Longhorns entered the meet with the NCAA-leading time at 42.35.
Alfred later followed up with the fastest 100m-qualifying time at 10.
