Women's Swimming and Diving takes 10th in 800 freestyle relay at NCAA Championships

ATLANTA – Texas earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 800-yard freestyle relay and placed 10th in the event Wednesday evening on night one of the 2016 NCAA Championships at McAuley Aquatic Center.

The quartet of All-America junior Madisyn Cox, freshmen Quinn Carrozza and Nora McCullagh and junior Tasija Karosas placed sixth in their heat and took 10th place overall in 7 minutes, 0.21 seconds, good for the No. 3 mark all-time at Texas.

Cox led off the relay in 1:44.61 before giving way to Carrozza, who split 1:44.
