IRVING, Texas – A total of 23 student-athletes from Texas Women's Swimming and Diving were selected to 2023 Academic All-Big 12 teams, the conference office announced on Wednesday. Twenty-one Longhorns were selected to the first team and two individuals were named to the second team. Junior Abby Pfeifer and sophomore Morgan Brophy were chosen with 4.0 grade point averages. Texas led the conference in both total selections and first-team honorees.
First-team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA, while the second-team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.
