Women’s Swim & Dive in third following day two of NCAA Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – Texas Women's Swimming and Diving is in third place at the NCAA Championships following day two of the four-day meet at the Gabrielson Natatorium on Thursday. Texas has registered 141 points through the first seven events, trailing Virginia (210.5) and Florida (163), while holding a 36-point lead over Stanford (105).

Texas Diving placed a pair of Longhorns in the 1-meter championship final with both Hailey Hernandez and Bridget O'Neil placing in the top-five. Hernandez won silver, scoring 326.20 points for her best career finish in the event at the national meet after placing fourth in each of the last two years.
