AUSTIN, Texas – A pair of Texas women's golf seniors, Agathe Laisne and Kaitlyn Papp, are among 20 additional amateurs that have earned entry into the 75th U.S. Women's Open Championship, the United States Golf Association (USGA) announced Thursday. The Longhorn duo both currently holds spots in the top-20 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR), with Laisne ranked No. 12 and Papp ranked No. 19.
"What a great moment for Agathe and Kaitlyn," Texas head coach Ryan Murphy said. "This opportunity is a result of continuous great golf over the last two years.
