NORMAN, Okla. – The No. 2 Texas women's golf team posted a one-under-par 287 on Monday and the Longhorns are currently tied for third after the opening day of the NCAA Norman Regional at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club.
No. 10 Florida currently leads the field with a four-under-par 284, while N.C. State is in second after recording a three-under-par 285. The Longhorns are three strokes off the team lead after the opening 18 holes. Texas is tied for third with Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Texas Tech at one-under-par [287].
As a team, the Longhorns totaled 63 pars – second-most among all teams in the field – and 10 birdies.
