With precisely 1.8 seconds remaining in the opening quarter and No. 2 seed Texas in the midst of a game-breaking 17-3 burst, the Longhorns' amplified defensive pressure forced a Missouri turnover and an in-bounds play on the sideline near their bench. When the official went to hand over the ball, Aston insisted it wasn't the proper spot, and the referee eventually agreed, advancing the ball several feet down the floor and setting up a simpler pass and last-second shot attempt.
