AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Women's Basketball team found continued success at home on Saturday night, as the Longhorns bested Texas Tech, 72-53, inside the Frank Erwin Center. The win marked the seventh-straight home win for Texas (12-4; 6-3 Big 12) and pushed UT's home record to 10-1 this season.
The Longhorns busted the game open in the second quarter with a 19-0 run that was anchored by a trio of 3-pointers from Kyra Lambert. Texas was 0-for-8 from behind the arc before Lambert drilled three in a row to spark the run. Lambert finished with 11 points, six rebounds and five assists.
