AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Women's Basketball team stepped back into the winner's circle with a 64-53 win over Oklahoma State at the Frank Erwin Center on Wednesday. The win pushes the Longhorns' record to 14-5 this season, and 8-4 in Big 12 play. Wednesday also marked Texas' 13th win by double-digits this season, and seventh vs. a Big 12 opponent.
After both teams struggled from the floor in the opening frame, Texas outscored Oklahoma State, 19-4, in the second quarter. Charli Collier was the biggest contributor for the Longhorns, scoring 14 points in the frame.
