AMES, Iowa – The Texas women's basketball team knocked off No. 24 Iowa State, 70-59, on Saturday at the Hilton Coliseum. It marked the Longhorns' first win over an AP Top 25 opponent under head coach Vic Schaefer, and pushed the team's record to 11-3 (5-2 Big 12) this season.
Charli Collier, like she has all season, was the anchor for the Longhorns in the first half, tallying 13 points and 10 rebounds in the first 15 minutes of the contest. It marked her NCAA Division I-leading 10th double-double of the season and the 25th of her career to date.
