AUSTIN, Texas – Texas began with an 8-2 burst, and then took control of the game in the second quarter – as the Longhorns dominated Texas Tech, 92-66, in a Big 12 Conference contest on Wednesday night at the Frank Erwin Center.
Charli Collier recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 23 points and 12 rebounds for Texas (10-6, 2-2). Joyner Holmes scored 17, and Lashann Higgs and Audrey Warren each had 10 points – a season high for Warren.
Chrislyn Carr and Brittany Brewer each scored 16 for Texas Tech (12-3, 1-3).
