When Karen Aston came in to lead the women's basketball program at Texas in 2012, her immediate priority was identifying student-athletes who could help the Longhorns establish, "what we wanted the culture to be like at Texas."
"We wanted to be known for hard work," Aston said.
Tonight, as seventh-ranked Texas hosts Oklahoma in a regular-season finale at the Frank Erwin Center, Aston and the Longhorns salute a pair of seniors whose legacy is what they leave behind – and what they always leave on the floor.
