AUSTIN, Texas – Featuring six teams that advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 last season, including the defending NCAA Champion and a pair of defending conference champions, the 2016-17 University of Texas women's basketball non-conference schedule was announced on Friday.
This season's non-conference campaign features seven home games in the Frank Erwin Center, as well as a season-opening exhibition game against Tarleton State in Gregory Gym on November 6.
This year's non-conference opponents compiled a combined 229-119 (.658) record last season and six of Texas' 11 non-league foes finished with an RPI in the top 21 a year ago.
