For a second or two, Collin Johnson gave into human nature.
The video board operators at Texas decided to broadcast the final minutes of Oklahoma State's upset of West Virginia on Saturday, just before Texas played Iowa State. When Will Grier's final pass was broken up, the light bulb went on with Texas in charge of its Big 12 future.
Johnson understood the possibilities.
"I think everybody in the stadium had that thought at that point," the junior receiver said.
Then he dismissed it, knowing Iowa State lie ahead. Now it's the same mindset with Kansas next on the horizon.
