After falling behind 17 late in the first half, the Longhorns rallied back in the second before coming up just short against Oklahoma, 69-67, on Saturday afternoon in Norman. Texas dropped to 15-12 overall and 7-7 in Big 12 play.
Here are three takeaways from Saturday's game:
1. Oklahoma staves off Texas' second-half rally
Texas experienced a first half in Norman very similar to the one it had the last time this team came to the state of Oklahoma. Back in early January during the trip to Stillwater, the Longhorns were dominated by Oklahoma State in the first half, falling behind 17 at the break before losing 61-58.
