When the Texas Longhorns went to Fayetteville three seasons ago, it was clear that the offensive line was not SEC ready.

The Arkansas Razorbacks pushed Texas around in the trenches with the Longhorns line generating less than three yards per rush, turning in the second-worst per-carry performance of the year – 3.37 yards per carry. Arkansas seemingly played the entire game in the Texas’ backfield, bringing down ballcarriers for a loss nine times, while turning in two sacks and three quarterback hurries.

Now, with Texas officially heading to the SEC, that dynamic has shifted. What was once a liability may now be the Longhorns’ biggest asset.
