The college football betting markets are gearing up for a hectic coaching carousel this winter.
And according to Bookmakers, the odds aren't in Texas head coach Charlie Strong's favor.
Coming off his fifth loss — which marked Texas' third-straight year with at least five losses since Mack Brown resigned in 2013 — the site lists Strong as a heavy underdog to keep his job with a +300 line.
The oddsmakers favor Houston's Tom Herman as the Longhorns next coach, with a -130 line. Herman worked as a graduate assistant at Texas from 1999-2000 and has built a strong in-state recruiting resume while leading the Cougars to a 21–3 record over the past two seasons.
