Tom Herman said after the Spring Football Game that he sees “buy-in” from the Texas Football team, but there is a lack of execution.
The team is on the right track, though. But, to get to a championship level, there has to be buy-in, maximum effort, and execution.
It may sound like coach-speak, but Herman has ways to quantify these key elements that go into a winning, championship caliber team. And, he has yet to see it consistently.
Now, the real work begins in the summer down period to prepare physically and mentally for fall camp and eventually the first real game in September.
