INDIANAPOLIS – With seven entries in tonight's championship finals and a lead of nearly 140 points, Texas is poised to lock up its third consecutive NCAA team title Saturday at the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships.
A team win tonight would move Texas out of a tie with Michigan and into No. 1 all-time with 13 NCAA men's swimming and diving team titles. Last year, Texas head coach Eddie Reese passed former Ohio State head coach Mike Peppe for No. 1 all-time among coaches with his 12th NCAA men's swimming and diving crown.
