What's a reasonable expectation for Tom Herman in his first year, taking over a 5-6 team?
Carlton: Nearly everyone says Texas is loaded with young talent but this is the same program that is coming off three straight losing seasons. For the first season, temper expectations. I think the floor for Herman is probably seven wins in the regular season with a ceiling of nine wins, figuring on losses to Southern Cal, Oklahoma and either Oklahoma State or West Virginia.
