Texas quarterback Shane Buechele and receiver Collin Johnson showed off some nice chemistry in the first half of the Longhorns' matchup with Texas Tech.
The two freshmen — and roommates — connected on two touchdowns passes to help lift Texas to a 23–21 first-half lead.
At 6-6, Johnson drew a lot of hype during spring practices for his ability to go up and get balls in traffic. However, the freshman saw limited playing time and failed to reel in a touchdown in his first eight games.
Johnson has three catches for 31 yards at the half.
