For the third time since 2014, the Texas Longhorns head into spring with a new head coach as Steve Sarkisian takes over the program from former head coach Tom Herman.
The Longhorns will use the time to install a new system on both sides of the ball, changing offensive and defensive systems with a nearly complete staff overhaul. Texas hopes that the new philosophy on both sides of the ball will give them the edge they need to capitalize on the talent brought in by the previous staff.
On Monday, Sarkisian met with the media to preview spring practice.
