The Golden Bears gave the No. 11 Longhorns a gift in the final minutes of their 50–43 win over Texas -- well, almost.
On a crucial 3rd-and-1 with 1:30 left, Golden Bears junior running back Vic Enwere seemingly broke loose for a 55-yard touchdown run to seal the game. But after a closer look, Enwere dropped the ball just before he crossed the goal line.
After review, the officials ruled Texas didn't make a clear recovery, allowing California to retain possession. The Golden Bears ran out the rest of the clock to seal the win.
