AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball senior Micaya White has been named College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Second Team for her outstanding academic and athletic achievement this season, announced by CoSIDA on Monday afternoon.
White, a Senior CLASS Award finalist, was named Academic All-District second team in 2017, and was Academic All-District earlier this season. She is also a four-time Academic All-Big 12 Selection.
This season, White is leading the Longhorns with 4.68 points per set on 4.00 kills per set, while hitting .306. She also ad added 2.45 digs per set, which is second on the team.
