AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball's Logan Eggleston has been named the 2023 NCAA Woman of the Year award, the organization announced Thursday at the NCAA Convention in Phoenix.

Eggleston is the Longhorns' first ever recipient of the prestigious award, which was first awarded in 1991. Unable to attend the event due to her professional volleyball commitments, Eggleston's parents accepted the honor on her behalf.

"It was such an honor to be nominated," Eggleston said. "There are so many amazing student-athletes across the country who are going through their own journeys and their own hardships and finding ways to power through, find success and just grow as people.
