AUSTIN, Texas – Legendary Texas Football QB Vince Young (2003-05) will be the featured guest on Rose Bowl LIVE! on Thursday, July 9. The show will stream live on Facebook and YouTube beginning at 9 p.m. CT.
Young, a Houston native, led Texas to back-to-back Rose Bowl victories over Michigan in 2005 and No. 1 USC for the National Championship in 2006, earning MVP honors in both games.
In 2006, Young capped one of the greatest individual seasons in college football history by securing the program's first national championship in 35 years. Regarded as one of the greatest college football games of all-time, he completed 30-of-40 passes for 267 yards, rushing for 200 – a Rose Bowl record for quarterbacks – and delivered the game-winning eight-yard touchdown run on fourth down with 19 seconds remaining against the Trojans.
