AUSTIN — When it comes to one of the worst-performing defenses in the country, Texas coach Charlie Strong isn’t going to delegate anymore.

One week after saying he would not demote defensive coordinator Vance Bedford, a demoralizing defeat at Oklahoma State has led Strong to take over full control of the defense for the rest of the season, according to reports by Orangebloods and 247Sports late Sunday night.
