AUSTIN — The way Charlie Strong sees it, ESPN can’t get enough of him.
“Every week I’m the topic of conversation,” Strong said Monday. “Either they’re ripping me or saying I’ve lost my team, or something else.”
This week, that “something else” was an ESPN-reported rumor that Strong might consider accepting the head coach job at Miami, which was vacated when the Hurricanes fired Al Golden on Sunday. Asked about the report during his weekly press conference, Strong doubled over in laughter.
“I have the best job in the country,” Strong said. “Where did that start?
