CANTON, Ohio - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has certainly left his mark on Texas but he wasn't homegrown. On Saturday, there was only one true Texan among the class of seven inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Former TCU and Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who was born in Rosebud in the heart of the state, became the 31st Texas-born member of the Hall of Fame. Only Pennsylvania has more with 33.

"It's real nice," said Tomlinson, who played high school football in Waco. "I was thinking about all the different Texans in the Hall of Fame.
