UCLA Bruins defensive tackle Jay Toia entered the NCAA transfer portal on Wednesday evening, he announced on Twitter Thursday, and could become a target of the Texas Longhorns in the program’s search for interior defensive linemen during the spring transfer window.
As I prepare to graduate from UCLA… After speaking with my parents and family I have decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal as of last night.

Toia has one season of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer and surfaced as a name to know in February when UCLA head coach Chip Kelly departed the program to take over as the offensive coordinator at Ohio State.
